Level of Support
Paxos is a part of the TaxBit Network. That comes with assistance from our Customer Experience Team if needed. Members of the TaxBit Network will receive a premium experience in terms of higher levels of support and a seamless onboarding experience.
Below you will find a detailed guide on connecting Paxos to your TaxBit account.
Step 1: From any page on PAXOS, select the Settings button in the top right corner.
Step 2: From the Settings page, select the "API Management" tab.
Step 3a: Under "Your Existing Credentials" select "New API Key"
3b. In the "Label" box, create a name for the the new API key. This can be any name, and does not need to be copied down. In this example, "TaxBit" has been chosen for the name.
3c. For permissions, select "Read All". You do not need to select "Write All".
3d. Select "Create Credentials"
Step 4a: The new API key has been created. Copy the Client ID, as it will not be shown again.
4b. Copy the Client Secret, as it will not be shown again.
From your TaxBit account
Once you have your Client ID and Client Secret you can complete the connection process in TaxBit by selecting the exchange under Add Sources > Search Sources > Search and select Paxos > Hit "Next" > Select "Add Account" > Fill out the fields in your TaxBit account with the information from Paxos > Select "Connect".
Once the connection has been established, you'll go ahead and hit the Sync Icon. From there, that will begin the process of bringing your transactions into your TaxBit account.
