Disclaimer: If you have BlockFi connected via API to your TaxBit account, any BlockFi data from November 2022 until now will not be accounted for in your TaxBit account.
Level of Support
BlockFi is a part of the TaxBit Network. That comes with assistance from our Customer Experience Team if needed. Members of the TaxBit Network will receive a premium experience in terms of higher levels of support and a seamless onboarding experience.
Here is a list of transactions that TaxBit supports from BlockFi:
- Trades
- Buys
- Sales
- Deposits
- Withdrawals
- Income
Loan Payoff transactions are not supported. If you have Loan Payoff transactions from BlockFi, you'll manually add these transactions as an "Expense" transaction in your TaxBit account.
BlockFi transactions such as: Collateral Deposits, Collateral Exits, and Internal Account transfers between Interest Accounts and Wallets will not be included transaction types.
BlockFi API
The API connection between BlockFi and TaxBit will no longer be available.
If you currently have the API connection established in your account, you can reach out to our Customer Experience Team to request that your BlockFi account be unlinked from TaxBit. Once that is complete, you can continue adding or removing BlockFi transactions within your TaxBit account.
Accounting for BlockFi Transactions
TaxBit has created an automated CSV converter for BlockFi. This ensures an easy process of exporting a CSV from your BlockFi and importing it directly into your TaxBit account.
The best way to account for BlockFi data in TaxBit is via CSV. Please follow the BlockFi CSV Guide in order to account for your BlockFi transaction history.
