If you’d like more information about what a NFT is or how they’re taxed, please read TaxBit’s NFT Tax Guide: What Creators and Investors Need to Know About NFT Taxes.
If you’re a TaxBit user who happens to own a NFT or multiple NFTs, you may be wondering how to get them into your TaxBit account!
As of Fall 2021, NFT inputs are limited to the native wallet where they’re located, particularly Ethereum Wallets. However, we do have additional NFT support in the works; it will be available in the near future.
You can add your wallet by following these steps:
1. Go to “Add Transactions”
2. Click on “Add Wallet”
3. Select the supported wallets you wish to add
4. Enter in your Label and Public Key
If you’re looking to add your wallet and need additional help, follow our guide.
Once your wallet is added and successfully synced to your TaxBit account, then you’ll be able to locate those NFT transactions on the My Transactions page.
Check out our article on how to filter your transactions on the My Transactions page; it provides more information on how to better locate the synced wallet transactions and see if your NFT is showing.
For the NFTs brought over from the wallet sync, TaxBit does account for establishing associated cost basis, gas fees, and gains/losses.
If your NFT transactions aren’t populating in your account, then you’ll want to run a resync of your connected wallet.
To do so, follow these steps:
1. Go to “Add Transactions”
2. Select the wallet you want to resync
3. Click on “Sync Wallet” to begin resyncing
Once the resync is complete, check your My Transactions page to see if the NFT transactions have populated.
If they still don’t appear, then chances are the NFT isn’t currently supported by our platform, even though we support the wallet you synced. However, TaxBit is working on expanding our NFT support capabilities, so there’s more to come in the future.

This literally does nothing to help me. Why pay for this when my nft's won't even populate? I was going for the nft suite but obviously it's useless if the nft's from wax wallet's won't even populate. Should I pay $175 to manually enter over 300 nft transactions? Bet not.
