Unlike software wallets like Exodus, Trust, or Metamask, hardware wallets cannot be added using our wallet integration tool regardless of what blockchain those transactions are on. If you do attempt to link a hardware wallet using its public wallet address, you'll find that only a small portion of your transactions will sync if any.
Common hardware wallets include Ledger and Trezor, though there are many others. In general, the easiest way to ensure all of your hardware wallet transactions show up in TaxBit is to use a CSV export. The good news is that both of those wallet providers have usable CSV exports.
Once you have those exports, if you are on our Plus or Pro Plan, feel free to get those to our Support Team, and we'll help you integrate those transactions into your Transactions page. If you have a hardware wallet on any other platform, if they have a CSV export, feel free to send it to the Support Team. From there, if you are on the Plus or Pro Plan, we’ll let you know if our team can format and import that file for you.
If you're not on the Plus or Pro Plan and have CSV exports that you need imported, you can follow this guide HERE on how to format and import your CSVs.
