Adding a wallet is an important part of managing your transaction history on TaxBit. In this guide, we'll explain how to link software wallets on one of our supported blockchains.
For wallets in general, you can directly link any software wallet on one of our supported blockchains using the wallet's public key/address. Currently, we offer direct integration to wallets on the following blockchains: Bitcoin (BTC), Ethereum (ETH), Dogecoin (DOGE), Helium (HNT), Dash (DASH), Litecoin (LTC), Binance Smart Chain (BSC), Proton, Polygon, Avalanche, and Bitcoin Cash (BCH).
Don't know which blockchain your wallet is on? Check out this guide HERE.

When you have a wallet you need to add to your TaxBit account, you can follow these steps to help you along:
Step 1: Within your TaxBit account, go to the 'Add Sources' tab on the left-hand side.
Step 2: Click on the "Search Sources" button.
We currently support the following blockchains: Bitcoin (BTC), Ethereum (ETH), Dogecoin (DOGE), Helium (HNT), Dash (DASH), Litecoin (LTC), Binance Smart Chain (BSC),Proton, Polygon, Avalanche, and Bitcoin Cash (BCH).
Step 3: Go ahead and click in the search bar to search for the wallet you want to connect to your account.
Step 4: Once you've chosen the wallet you want to connect, you will need to select "Next".
Step 5: From here, you will fill in the 'Public Key' public wallet address. You'll also add a label, which you would like to call the wallet. The label can be anything you want, e.g. "My ETH Wallet" or "Metamask 1".
Step 6: After you have filled in the "Nickname" and "Wallet Address" fields, you can click the "Connect Wallet" button.
Once the wallet has been successfully connected, you'll be able to see it on the "Sources" tab.
You can also pull up the "Transactions" page to make sure all your transactions have been loaded from your wallet.
