You're ready to file your crypto taxes - that's great! When you're using TaxBit, you'll be provided with two forms:
1. A completed 8949 tax form, which is the only tax form you will need to file your crypto taxes. See the link HERE with more info about what is included in the 8949.
2. An Income Report, if applicable. If you're unsure whether you'll need an Income Report, see link HERE.
You can download both of these tax forms from the Taxes page on your TaxBit account.
It's important to keep in mind that TaxBit does not provide you with a 1099-B or 1099-MISC form. Those are provided by the exchanges themselves. See link HERE.
The 8949 tax form will have all relevant crypto tax information, so you will not need both the 8949 and the 1099 to file with the IRS.
