If you have crypto transactions on an exchange or wallet that you are unable to link directly to TaxBit, you will need to use a CSV import to add the data to your account.
You can automatically import CSVs from a number of popular exchanges/wallets with no editing/reformatting necessary! If your file is from one of the sources listed below, follow these steps to upload:
1. Click "Add Transactions"
2. Click "Import from CSV"
3. Select the Exchange or Wallet you'd like to Import. If the exchange or wallet isn't included, click on "Upload a Generic CSV"
Once you do this your transactions should appear within 1 hour, if not sooner!
If you have any trouble with this process, or if you have a CSV from an exchange not listed, please reach out to TaxBit's Customer Experience Team! You can email your CSV file to support@taxbit.com with your account email and the source of the file. A Customer Experience Agent will be able to help you get that data added to your account.
