We understand that TaxBit may not be the best fit for your needs or there may be another reason in which you wish to delete your TaxBit account. If you wish to delete your TaxBit account, you can follow the steps in this article to successfully delete your account on your end.
How do I delete my account?
When you delete your TaxBit account you will lose access to all data within TaxBit, and will have to create a new account if you want to use TaxBit again. Deleting your account is an action which cannot be undone.
Step 1: Navigate to your Settings page in your account
Step 2: You’ll see on the right-side of “Account” there’s a red button that says “Delete Account”. Click “Delete Account”
Step 3: A popup will appear to confirm that you want your account deleted. If you wish to continue with this process, you will type “DELETE” in the text bar and then hit “Delete Account”
After you’ve completed Step 3, you’ve successfully completed deleting your TaxBit account. From there, you’ll be redirected to the TaxBit Login page.
